How can I get involved?

There are many ways you can get involved!

Be on the Team

If you want to be the best in kids work - join the Team! We need individuals who want to make a real difference in the inner city. The typical set up is we visit the kids one evening a week giving out the flyers to let them know what's happening at Sidewalk that week. Afterwards we return to a Team members house for glorious food, fellowship and preparation for the Kidz Klub. Then on Sidewalk day, it's meet up for final prep, briefing, pray up, then on the road for the greatest show on earth. Then it's pack up, tidy up, de-brief and roll out. Full on training will be given as required.

Administration

If you can spare a regular morning or afternoon a week - your help is needed!  Whether that's designing the flyers that we give out every week to making phone calls to raise the level of effectiveness for Sidewalk (sourcing practical help and funds such as retailers giving toys, sweets, printing of posters etc).  Or even going out buying the necessary props needed to make the communication of the Gospel work - window shopping...mmmm...we know you'll love it!

Fundraising

We have a wonderful Bekki who helps to raise funds by applying to those ever elusive grants an evening or a day a week.  If you fancy giving her hand over a cup of tea and biscuits - we're sure she'd love it!

 Remote Control

If you're in a Church not too far away and can't help practically but you'd like to, how about inviting Barry Johnston to speak at your Church about Sidewalk?  He regularly pops into a Church fellowship and either gives a short five minute talk with a DVD casting the vision of Sidewalk or he can preach a full sermon borne out of his experiences.  It may be possible to bring the Sidewalk vehicle to give a practical demonstration on all things Sidewalk.
