Baz 'the Hitman' Johnston

Barry is the leader of Sidewalk UK. He and his wife, Camilla, decided to move to Firth Park with the express purpose of reaching out to the kids, youth and the community. They have two young kids of their own.

Dave 'the Rave' Whittaker

Dave lives in Firth Park with his family. Working full-time in a secular job, he is committed to reaching out to the kids and families in his neighbourhood along with his wife, Laura, and their own two kids.

Sean 'the Big Mac' Macnamara

Trained by Metro Ministries in New York, Sean has dedicated himself to three years to Sidewalk in Sheffield whilst also studying at University and earning his dosh at Starbucks.

Ray 'Stingray' Towle

A professional Sound Engineer by trade, fantastic Ray volunteers running the sound system for Sidewalk in Firth Park, freeing the rest of the Team to make a mess!

Chelsea - 'don't mess with me'

Absolutely invaluable as part of our Core Team - she helps to make it happen - and comes with us on Visitation.

Jamie - 'the best'

Jamie runs the PA Sound System with Ray - and also helps to make it happen.

LOWDOWN ON FIRTH PARK

Consigning of the Flower Estate, Brushes, Stubbin and the edge of Fir Vale, Firth Park has a real mix of white english and ethnic minority groups. Fir Vale alone has the highest minority percentage (of 50.4%) in the City of Sheffield. Graced by a central Park where the Sidewalk site is based, there are over 2280 kids & teenagers in the area.

The first Sidewalk Site in the UK has an average attendance of 70 kids. At present we vist over 140 kids each week - 95% of whom are of minority ethnic background.
